Cathedral Of The Blessed Sacrament, Sacramento California
Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Sacramento California. When church officials where doing a complete multi-million dollar renovation of their cathedral they determined they wanted to replace modern windows that were installed in 1989. The modern windows where installed as part of the Cathedral's one hundred year centennial celebration at the time but never really fit in this glorious building.
One of the Cathedral's officials remembered turning to King Richard's the year before to locate some "very special" altarware that could only be found in antique pieces. That year we provided an amazing gold plated and enameled processional cross, altar cross and matching candle stands that were truly worthy of a building such as Blessed Sacrament. The Cathedral immediately called King Richard's to purchase period stained glass windows to replace their modern 1980's windows. As with many of our customers they may search else where but their search ends with King Richard's. We were able to provide them twelve very large matching figural windows that were so close to the size needed that very little alterations were required.
We are very proud to have been such an important part of this very beautiful church and the ultimate success that this renovation has achieved.
