How do I sell to King Richard's?
King Richard's is always purchasing and consigning quality religious artifacts. Please go to the link “Selling to King Richard's” provided on the home page for further instructions.
King Richard's will always honor Cannon Law prohibiting the sale of relics. We have access to relics and can provide a placement service for churches and other recognized religious facilities for sacred objects.
Why doesn't King Richard's sell its items on eBay?
King Richard's has chosen to refrain from selling on eBay due to the lack of ethics by some sellers of religious merchandise, and the reputation associated with selling religious merchandise on eBay. We are not willing to be confused with religious sellers who operate under several different names, who are willing to sell relics to anyone, sell new items from China, India, and Argentina as “antiques”, sell windows, statues, chalices, monstrances, vestments, altars, etc. to restaurants, bars, nightclubs or anyone that is not a Christian. We are a legitimate business operating solely within the religious community and not willing to compromise our ethics, morals and values by selling sacred items to anyone for a quick sale.
Our website is the most comprehensive site for religious merchandise in the world; maintaining it and updating pricing is a very daunting and costly commitment for over 10,000 items. Additionally, international currency rates change daily, as would our pricing in other currencies. Furthermore, in recent years silver, gold, and brass prices change regularly making it difficult to maintain changes on new merchandise containing these materials. A password is available to view pricing on our website for the majority of antique inventory and new inventory (subject to change for reasons indicated); however, the password is only provided to verifiable professionals and individuals representing religious organizations.
( In an effort to save time we have decided to list prices on all antique items under $500.00. Look for prices in the near future. )
Donations:
King Richard's is continually solicited for donations of cash and products. We have gifted generously to many organizations and churches over the years and will continue to be responsible and charitable at our own discretion and privacy.
Prop rentals and sales:
We deny 90% of these requests due to the inappropriate intended use of our products. We will rent certain products for very specific religious projects subject to pre-approval at our discretion. A production company must provide written and signed proof that our products will be used as intended for Catholic/Christian worship and the content of the production does not compromise Catholic/Christian faith.
King Richard's routinely denies potential sales from restaurants, nightclubs, non-Christians, production companies, decorators, and any other non-religious users. Our policy is very simple: if you are not Catholic or Christian planning to use our products as they were intended, please do not contact us or visit our facility. Unlike other companies, we are not willing to sell to anyone simply willing to pay.
We do not wholesale our products to other church supply stores or religious gift shops.
At this time, our website is our catalog. We can forward color photos and enlargements of any item you inquire about on the website.
